This All-American style baked Omelet Casserole is perfect for “special occasions” and for treating guests or relatives who have spent the night in your house. They will feel like they are being treated as Royalty, trust me. If you or your family or guests do not like hot and spicy dishes, simply leave out the hot sauce(s) recommended – or cut down on the amount. Me? I like this omelet with the full gusto!

Baked Omelet Casserole Recipe-

Ingredients:
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8 inch round or square ceramic baking dish with non-stick olive oil cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine eggs and milk. With an electric mixer, beat until foamy.
  3. Blend in salt and hot pepper sauce.
  4. Stir in bacon, olives, tomatoes, green onions, mushrooms and cheese.
  5. Pour into prepared pan and cover with lid or aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the eggs are well set in the middle.
  7. Serve your Baked Omelet Casserole fresh out of the oven, while still nice and hot.

  2. Looks absolutely scrumptious! Hubby said he was going to cook me whatever I wanted for Mother’s Day breakfast, so this is definitely what I want! A perfect start to a fun day – our daughter has invited us over to her house for dinner too (and she is an excellent cook – taught her everything she knows, hahahaha), so this old gal can relax and enjoy some fine eating ALL day, without having to do any of the work, lol.
