Most countries and cultures have some versions of meatloaf. Many of them are mouthwatering wonderful, so delicious. However, of all the kinds of meatloaf I have ever tried, this New Zealand style meatloaf is special. It stands out as unique with its complexity of flavors and its texture on the palate.

Meatloaf Special New Zealand Style Recipe-

Ingredients:

(Makes 8 Servings)

For the Loaf-
For the Sauce-
For Condiment-
Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Fry the bacon until crispy, then crumble into tiny bits.
  3. Place all of the meatloaf ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine thoroughly.
  4. Put the combined mixture into a loaf tin.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  6. As the loaf cooks, make up your sauce.
  7. Put all of the sauce ingredients in a saucepan or small skillet over low heat, and stir until blended together.
  8. Remove the meatloaf from the oven; pour off any excess fat.
  9. Pour the sauce over the top of the loaf, and place it back into oven to bake for another 30 minutes.
  10. Serve your New Zealand style meatloaf while nice and hot. Have some onion marmalade on the table for a condiment.
