Indonesian Nasi Goreng Recipe-
Ingredients:
- 2 cups uncooked long-grain white rice
- 2 large chicken eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1⁄2 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. boneless skinless chicken thighs, chopped fine
- 6 oz. raw shrimp, peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped fine
- 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh ginger root
- 1 tbsp. dried shrimp paste
- 1⁄2 teaspoon freshly ground black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp. sambal oelek
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp. ketjap manis
For the Garnish-
- 3 tbsp. finely chopped green onions
- 1⁄2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped fine
