Javanese Ayam Ungkep Recipe-
Zutaten:
For the Chicken-
- 1 ganzes Huhn (über 2-1/2 bis 3 pfund.), einschneiden 8 Stücke
- 3 Stiele Zitronengras, gequetscht
- 6 Kaffernlimettenblätter
- 16 und. coconut water

For the spice paste-
- 10 Schalotten
- 8 große Knoblauchzehen
- 1"Stück Ingwerwurzel, geschält und gehackt
- 1"Stück Frisch Galgantwurzel, geschält und gehackt
- 1 EL. turmeric powder
- 1 TL. Korianderpulver
- 1 TL. Salz
- 1 TL. Zucker
Anfahrt:
- Use a Mörser und Stößel to grind the spices into a smooth paste.
- Place chicken, spice paste, Kaffernlimettenblätter, lemon grass and coconut water into a cooking pot. Bring to a vigorous boil. Den Topf zudecken, reduce flame to a simmer, und kochen für 30 Minuten, or until chicken pieces are tenderized.
